Introducing
Pathways Forward (Wraparound Services)
Pathways Forward: Bronx Immigrant Support Initiative is a comprehensive program created by Bronx Neighborhood Housing Services CDC, Inc. (Bronx NHS) to address the multifaceted needs of immigrant communities in the Bronx. A longstanding nonprofit organization, Bronx NHS is committed to enhancing the stability, economic security, and overall well-being of Bronx residents.
Pathways Forward expands this commitment by providing essential services through partnerships with community-based organizations, offering a robust support network that helps immigrants overcome challenges in healthcare, housing, language proficiency, legal access, workforce development, food security, and mental health.
We can help immigrants overcome barriers, enhance their contributions to the Bronx.
Immigrants in the Bronx face a range of barriers, including limited access to healthcare, language support, and stable housing, as well as high food insecurity. Pathways Forward aims to meet these needs through a culturally responsive, integrated approach that includes health services, housing assistance, language education, workforce training, legal support, food distribution, and mental health resources. Partnerships with respected organizations, such as SOMOS, Good Neighbors Community Outreach Agency, and Choose Life International, ensure that services are accessible and impactful for immigrant families and individuals.
With Pathways Forward, Bronx NHS is poised to create significant, positive changes within immigrant communities by fostering stability and self sufficiency. This program seeks funding to establish and maintain these services, creating a foundation of support for immigrants as they build their futures in the Bronx.
By investing in programs like the Pathways Forward: Bronx Immigrant Support Initiative, we can help immigrants overcome barriers, enhance their contributions to the Bronx, and ultimately strengthen our entire community. Supporting immigrants is not just an investment in their future; it is an investment in the future of the Bronx as a whole.
